Heavy rain will continue this morning bringing a further 15-20mm widely on low ground and potentially another 30-35mm over the hills.

This adding to the large amounts of rain already experienced overnight and could lead to some further flooding and disruption in other areas.

Conditions will improve this afternoon as the rain clears to the south and winds moderate.

The Government are advising those who require assitance to  contact the Department of Infrastructure: (01624) 850000. If your life is in danger due to flooding dial 999.
