Yellow weather warning issued over weekend

A yellow weather warning has been issued by the IOM MET Office over the weekend.

Between 3pm today and 4am tomorrow all areas of the Island will be affected by outbreaks of rain, which will turn heavy and persistent during the evening.

Rainfall amounting to 20 - 30mm is expected, with a risk of 30 - 40mm over the hills.

Residents should expect standing water and some localised flooding across the Island.
