Police taser man who tried to end life

Police have saved a man from ending his own life by using a taser on him.

The force's Operational Support Group posted an update online, stating that officers were deployed to a male threatening to end his own life with a razor blade on Sunday night.

Officers discharged the taser and performed first aid when the man began harming himself, before he was then treated by members of the IOM Ambulance Service.
