Laxey 'open for business' following floods

Garff Commissioners are assuring people that all businesses are open in Laxey following flooding.

 

They said that whilst Glen Road is partially closed until February next year to allow completion of all flood repairs, the businesses nearby will still be open.

 

These include Laxey Woollen Mill, Laxey Laundry, The Shore Hotel and La Mona Lisa Restaurant.

 

Refreshment outlets at Laxey Beach are also open as normal.
