Pupils learn more about Hop-tu-Naa

Children all over the Island have been learning Manx traditions of Hop-tu-Naa and autumnal customs.

Culture Vannin have visited 500 school children over the last two weeks, teaching them songs, stories, dances and folklore which celebrates the annual Celtic festival and Mheillea.

Festive events will be held this half term for Hop-tu-Naa, which is known as Halloween elsewhere in the world.

Due to the success of this roadshow Jo and Chloe have plans for future visits focusing on other less well known Manx calendar customs.
