OFT warning public about recalled B&Q dishwasher

The Isle of Man Office of Fair Trading has an important safety notice concerning the Cooke & Lewis - Freestanding Slimline White Dishwasher on sale at B&Q between 2012 and 2017.

Cooke and Lewis is a brand of white goods produced exclusively for B&Q by its commercial partners. B&Q has become aware that components of this specific dishwasher may overheat and result in a fire.

The affected dishwasher is the CLDW451W-C/DI6014 design with the barcode 5052931055623.

If you have purchased one of these dishwashers you should stop using it immediately, unplug it from the power socket and contact the B&Q helpline on 0333 014 3476. The helpline is open Monday to Friday 8:30am - 8pm, Saturday 9am - 5pm and Sunday 10am - 4pm.
