Temporary speed limit imposed in Santon

Drivers are being advised of temporary speed limits on the New Castletown Road, Santon between the junction with Oatlands Road and Murray's Motorcycle Museum.
It's to allow the DOI to carry out essential repairs to the road surface.
An outer 30 mph zone and an inner 20 mph zone will be in affect directly around the works.
Works will be conducted under traffic control, with Stop and Go boards or traffic lights dependent on the particular works underway at the time.
Traffic control measures will operate between 9.30am and 4.30pm Monday to Friday to ensure that disruption to commuter traffic is minimised.
Drivers are advised that during the works, at times the road will have a temporary surface.
The DOI will also undertake maintenance works to the drainage infrastructure along the road.
Restrictions will apply from today until 6pm Friday 8th November
