A teenager from Ramsey will take on a 300 mile static cycling challenge to raise funds for mental health charity, REACH IOM this weekend.
19-year-old Jake Barnes will be pedalling for around 18 hours in Bikestyle at NOA Bakehouse on Saturday 2nd November for his fundraiser, 'Jake's Big 300', which is the first fundraising event he's ever done.
He said that he's chosen REACH IOM because he feels there's still a stigma surrounding mental health and wants to give something back after cycling and exercise has helped him overcome his personal mental health issues.

Speaking to Energy FM he says he hopes the money raised from his challenge can help reduce the stigma and help others:
