Isle of Pride to take place next year

Isle of Pride Festival will take place for the first time next year.

A number of events will be held across the Island between the 13th and 20th June to celebrate pride, which aims to promote respect towards LGBTQ people within the community.

The Festival was set up officially this summer by the charity organisers - more details will be revealed soon on www.isleofpride.im.

Zoe Bennett from Isle of Pride spoke to Energy FM about why it's important to hold a new pride event on the Island:
