Fire Service issue bonfire and firework safety

The Isle of Man Fire and Rescue Service are advising the public on safety measures for bonfires and fireworks.

With Guy Fawkes Night falling on Tuesday 5th November, numerous firework and bonfire displays will be taking place across the Island this weekend.

IOMFRS have information online, including the Fireworks Code, protecting children, animals, and handling sparklers.

Station Officer Mark Caley spoke to Energy FM about important things which people planning to hold private bonfires or fireworks should consider:
