Emergency services respond to single RTC on Mountain Road

Emergency services have responded to a road traffic collision involving one vehicle earlier this morning on the Mountain Road.

Fire crews, ambulance and police staff were called to the incident, which occured just past Brandywell Junction.

The driver was safely out of the vehicle and checked over by paramedics.

The Mountain Road is currently closed whilst emergency services recover the vehicle - updates can be found on the IOM Constabulary's social media page.

Drivers are being reminded that the roads are extra slippery during the winter months and to drive to the conditions, preparing for the unexpected.
