Two men arrested in Douglas following alleged assault

Police from the Operational Support Group assisted uniformed officers last night to arrest two men following a report of an alleged serious assault.

The search was conducted with firearms and dog officers on an area of Kensington Avenue in Douglas, which was closed off during the search.

There was no risk to the general public.

Officers from the Criminal Investigations Department are appealing for witnesses.

If you were in the area of Rose Mount, Kensington Rd or Kensington Avenue around 7pm last night (5th November) you are asked to contact CID at Douglas Police Headquarters on 631301 as soon as possible.
