A Yellow Weather Warning is in place until 5pm today with persistent and heavy rain expected.
The Isle of Man MET Office have issued the warning, estimating between 10-20mm of rain, with standing water in prone locations.
Rainfall is predicted to be heavier in the North and over high ground, especially East and Northeastern facing upslopes where it's possible to have 20-40mm of water.
Surface water issues and minor flooding are at risk in these areas.
Isle of Man Police say there's reports of standing water at Brandywell and Windy Corner following an accident nearby.
And the Department of Infrastructure have teams diverted from their usual duties doing their best to alleviate issues.
Flooding information can be found on the Floodwatch IOM website, or by calling IOM Floodline on 686100.
