Fire crews in the South of the Island have put-out a vehicle fire which occured last night during the PokerStars Rally.
Crews from Castletown and Malew Fire and Ambulance Station were called out at around 7:30pm to Old Castletown Road, Ballasalla, where a rally car had left the road and landed in a field at the end of the Keristal stage, before the Blackboards.
Members of Hogg Rescue (Phil Hogg Rescue Ambulances) were on the scene, attending to the driver and co-driver.
Firefighters extinguished the vehicle, which was well-alight, using high pressure hose reels and breathing apparatus to put-out the fire.
