Treasure Trove inquest to take place next month

A Treasure Trove inquest will take place at Douglas Courthouse next month.

 

Taking place Friday 6th December 2019, Coroner of Inquests Mrs Jayne Hughes will hold the inquest.

 

The nature of such an inquest is held when a person finds what they believe to be treasure.

 

There have been Treasure Trove inquests in the past for Viking jewellery discovered by metal detectors in different parts of the Island.
