Women's Aid IOM are asking people to donate to their Christmas appeal to help vulnerable families within the refuge.
The charity, which helps women and children escape domestic violence and dangerous situations at home, say that during the holidays it's harder for families to leave their homes and buy gifts, or to afford them.
Donations can be in the form of new toys, gift vouchers, gift sets, cash donations and hampers.
To donate, call Women's Aid IOM on 01624 677900, or message the charity via their Facebook page.
Energy FM spoke to Tania Craine from the organisation - she said the charity hopes to receive donations to bring the Christmas spirit to the refuge:
