Speakers from two of the world's leading computing technology and applications companies will be visiting the Island for the first time this week.
Technicians from Google and Canonical will deliver speeches at the Developer Festival (or DevFest) on Friday 22nd and Saturday 23rd November at The Hubb in Douglas.
Held by Google Developers Group Douglas, experts from the UK and Europe will talk about data science, artificial intelligence, machine learning, Android and other types of technology.
DevFest will include presentations, interactive sessions and workshops and updates on the latest Google and open-source products and how people can use them for everyday life.
The event will be from 11am to 6pm on Friday 22nd, and 8am to 6pm on Saturday 23rd - registration can be found here.
