The Chief Minister and Health Minister have attended the British-Irish Council Summit in Dublin.
Howard Quayle MHK and David Ashford were at the 33rd Summit meeting last week, hosted by the Irish Government.
Ministers from the Isle of Man, England, Scotland, Wales and the Channel Islands took the opportunity to discuss the latest domestic political developments across their jurisdictions and engaged on topics of mutual interest such as the economy and trade and ongoing relations with the EU.
Misuse of Substances was also discussed, with heads of delegation welcomed to Dublin by the Irish Prime Minister, Leo Varadkar.
The council held this year marks the 20th anniversary of the inaugural meeting of the British-Irish Council, which upholds the Belfast – Good Friday Agreement, offering ministers and officials regular opportunities to exchange information, discuss, consult and co-operate on matters of mutual interest within the respective competencies of the eight Member Administrations.
