Police issue automated calls warning

Police are warning residents of automated phone calls being made claiming to be from online shopping sites.

Officers say they've received reports of calls being made asking victims to dial in numbers on their phone.

Residents are asked to ignore the instructions and to hang up and not to press any buttons.

For anyone who may have concerns about phone charges, Police advise to contact your phone service provider.
