Liverpool ferry terminal completion date July 2021

The Department of Infrastructure Minister has announced the start and completion dates of the Liverpool Ferry Terminal.

Ray Harmer MHK answered Juan Watterson SHK's question in Tynwald yesterday, stating that the start date would be 20th January 2020 and the contractual completion date for the whole of the works is 21st July 2021.

He also said that the opening of the Liverpool Ferry Terminal will be no later than the completion date, and that the DOI hopes to be able to allow the Isle of Man Steam Packet Company to operate 2021 ferry services for TT.

Earlier this year Liverpool City Council approved the Government's plans to build a £30m ferry terminal at Princes Half Tide Dock.
