The Department of Infrastructure have installed temporary traffic lights on the A3 road between Ballacraine and Kirk Michael.
It follows a road traffic collision at the bottom of Barregarrow on Tuesday, which caused damage to the bridge wall at the bottom of the dip.
The traffic lights are in place during the rebuilding of the wall and due to be finished later today.
The DOI said the lights will be removed following completion and reinstalled sometime next week when the wall can be repainted.
