Plans have been submitted by Dandara to build 70 flats on Peel Road in Douglas.

 

In a planning application submitted, 66 apartments would be on the site of the vacant motor garage and adjoining land between the former Wool Control Centre and the No.41 property on the street.

 

Dandara have stated that apartment blocks on Lord Street are nearing the end of their lifespan and the development would potentially provide Douglas Borough Council with a place to relocate tenants of the Lord Street premises.
