Millennium Bridge to close again tonight

The Millennium Bridge will be closed to the public again tonight for repair works.

The Department of Infrastructure has said that Douglas Harbour will be closed to all traffic, vehicle and pedestrian, between 10pm and 6am tomorrow.

Work has been deliberately delayed to avoid a clash with the late night shopping traffic.

The DOI said if the work planned goes well, the bridge will be reopened for road traffic considerably earlier than 6am.
