Mountain View Innovation Centre

A free talk covering online safety for businesses will be held at Mountain View Innovation Centre next month.

 

'Business Risks in a Connected World' will be held at the Centre on 5th December at 5:30pm as the second talk led by IOM Police Digital Evidence Unit's Andrew Cook.

 

Hosted by the AFD Group, the launch event, held earlier in November, covered the topic of ‘Staying Safe in a Connected World’.

 

David Dorricott, AFD Group Managing Directorsaid: 'As an Island community rich in independent businesses and start-ups we soon realised that this was an area of concern for a high majority of all small and medium sized businesses. We hope that by facilitating this session, business owners will learn more about cybercrime, take the opportunity to pick the brains of the experts and ultimately reduce their online risks.'
