A Yellow Weather Warning is in place from now until 6am tomorrow potentially Island-wide.

 

Areas most at risk will be on higher ground, valleys and areas sheltered by east-southeasterly winds.

 

IOM MET Office said clear skies and light north-easterly winds will decrease road surface temperatures to fall close to or slightly below freezing in places.

 

Temperatures will lower to around 2 or 3 Celsius for a time this evening, leading to a slight risk of ice forming on any untreated, damp surfaces throughout tonight.

 

As winds freshen an east-southeasterly overnight, temperatures will increase slightly.
