Council's tree giveaway to 'reverse climate change'

Douglas Council is handing out 2,000 trees to support ‘the reversal of climate change’ and improve the appearance of the capital.
 
Mountain Ash whips up to a metre high are being distributed for free to residents and community groups who apply to the authority.
 
Councillor Stephen Pitts, who’s chair of the regeneration and community committee, explained more about the giveaway to Local Democracy Reporter Ewan Gawne:
