MNH to host 60s and 70s winter talk this Sunday

Manx National Heritage are holding a talk for their latest exhibition at the House of Manannan this weekend.

Curator Katie King is hosting the 'This Is Winter!' presentation, which looks at the 1960s and '70s on the Island during the winter months and some unusual, lighthearted stories from newspapers at the time.

The photography exhibition is currently at the House of Manannan in Peel which launched in October, and a further 1,000 images were published on the free iMuseum website from the '50s to the '70s.

Speaking to Energy FM Katie said the talk will look at some interesting aspects of Manx life from Christmases past:
