Police appeal to public to identify male caught on CCTV

Police are investigating a robbery involving a male caught on CCTV on Broadway in Douglas.

It happened in the early hours of Saturday morning near Castle Mona Avenue.

In a statement, police said: 'The obvious difference in the CCTV and the description provided by the victim is the CCTV show the male with a blue hood. However this male in the CCTV is a person of interest to the investigation team and they are keen to identify him.'

Anyone who is able to identify the male filmed on the CCTV footage is asked to contact the Criminal Investigations Department at Police Headquarters on 631212.
