Bike locker compounds installed

Two cycle locker compounds have been installed in Shaw’s Brow car park by Douglas Borough Council for use by commuters. 

The development is in partnership with the Department of Infrastructure and supports the Isle of Man Government’s Active Travel Strategy, which aims to Increase the number of people walking or cycling to work or school from 14.2% in 2011 to 20%+ by 2021. 

Each nest holds six bikes, with keys being made available by the Council once proof of identify has been verified.
