Manx Crafters are holding workshops to create wraps and pouches for animals injured in the Australian bush fires.
Workshops are being held on Sunday 12th January, 10am to 1pm and Monday 13th January, 9.30am to 12.30pm at Jurby Community Centre, and on Monday 13th January 10am at the British Legion in Castletown.
People interested in donating fabric or creating items should check out the dedicated Facebook page Manx Crafters Australian Animal Appeal, for specific patterns and materials that must be used.
Carriers Highway Express have offered to ship the items free of charge to the UK Crafter’s Hub in Leicestershire, where onward shipping will then be arranged to the Animal Rescue Collective Craft Guild in Australia.
Fabric, yarn or completed items can be dropped off at either The Snug in Ramsey or Castletown Library by Friday 17th January.
