Tributes have been made to a 27-year-old from Laxey who died whilst on holiday last month.
Fraser Vaughan was in Costa Rica on December 30th when he passed away.
He was training in accountancy, had played for Laxey and Corinthians football clubs, attended Ramsey Grammar School and earned a degree from the University of Manchester.
Tributes have been made by teammates from both Laxey and Corinthians AFC on social media - Michael Fernandes posted on behalf of Laxey AFC: 'We remember Fraser as a Laxey player from a very early age. He played at all age groups through to the First team with commitment, drive and skill. A true ‘box to box’ midfielder.
'Fraser was a gentle giant really and will be remembered as a lovely lad who was a brilliant teammate and a great asset to all the managers that he played for. He will forever be a ‘Laxey Lad’.'
Corinthians AFC posted: 'It is regrettable that the club have to bring you the tragic news of the passing of star first teamer Fraser Vaughan. We offer our sympathy to family and friends, all of whom have lost a special person. He will be missed by all. RIP Fraser COYW.'
