Snow and sleet affecting Mountain Road

Police are warning of hazardous driving conditions on the Mountain Road this morning.

The force said: "Its not bad enough to close the road at the moment but please drive with extra care this morning if using the mountain or use an alternative route."

The Mountain Road remains fully open at this time.

Officers have closed Beinney Phott Road from its junction of Brandywell Cottage up to the Mountain Road because of drifting snow.

Gritters have been dispatched by the Department of Infrastructure.
