Fire crews were called out to tackle a kitchen fire in Douglas earlier.
Two crews from Douglas Fire Station were sent to Harcroft Meadow at 10:20am.
On arrival, a breathing apparatus team entered the property and discovered a fire in the kitchen which was promptly extinguished using hosereel equipment.
A ventilation fan was used to clear the smoke from the building and crews were in attendance for approximately 45 minutes.
The three occupants of the property were given precautionary checks for smoke inhalation by paramedics.
