Douglas Coastguards were called out twice yesterday, one incident involving a youth.
At 12:45 pm teams attended to a casualty who was brought into hospital.
They then received a call just after 5 pm to reports of a young person clinging to the newly coated cliff face at Port Jack, Onchan.
Police were already on the scene, who had thrown down a line for the youth to grab onto.
The youth was brought safely back to the top by a Coastguard technician, checked over for injuries and then passed to their parents.
