Fire crews from Ramsey, Kirk Michael, Laxey and Douglas were called out yesterday to reports of a property fire in the North.
Upon arrival, crews were faced with a rapidly developing fire that had taken hold on the ground floor.
IOMFRS said that the intensity of the fire meant that crews wearing breathing apparatus had to work in very demanding conditions to bring the incident under control.
All persons and pets managed to evacuate the property moment's before the flames and smoke engulfed both the ground and first floors.
Occupants were checked over by Ambulance Service teams, who reported no injuries.
Ongoing investigations are currently taking place to identify the cause of the fire.
