Man arrested in connection with Post Office security incident

Police have arrested a man in connection with an incident at the Isle of Man Post Office HQ last week.

A 21-year-old man was arrested from the North of the Island on Sunday.

The force say he was arrested for the offences of; attempt to cause explosion, making or keeping explosives with intent to endanger life or property and another offence endangering public safety.

Investigating officers say the man has been assisting detectives and has since been bailed.

The Spring Valley Industrial Estate building was evacuated last Wednesday following a suspicous package discovered by a worker.
