Motorbike rider suffers serious injuries

A motorcyclist was taken to hospital after a collision in Onchan.

Emergency services were called to Whitebridge Road on Saturday morning after reports of an accident involving a motorcycle and car.

The Ambulance Service treated the male rider for serious injuries and was taken to Noble's Hospital.

Police are continuing with their enquiries and request any witnesses who have seen the collision or events leading up to it , and who have not already been spoken to by the Police, contact Police Headquarters on 631212 and ask for an officer from the Roads Policing Unit.
