Witness appeal launched after Courthouse incident

Police are appealing for witnesses after an incident at a Douglas bar.

Officers were called the Courthouse bar in Athol Street in the early hours of Sunday morning.

The incident happened in the upstairs mens toilets of the bar at around 12:40am and involved security staff and a male person who was ejected from the premises. 

Police wish to identify and speak with anyone that that was in and around the toilets at this time, in particular anyone that was in the toilet who may have been present and witnessed the altercation. 

Anyone with information is urged to contact Police Headquarters.
