Yellow Weather Warning in place from 6pm until 6am Tuesday

A Yellow Weather Warning is in place from tonight until tomorrow morning as Storm Ciara rages on.

 

The IOM MET Office has issued the warning from 6 pm until 6 am, whilst the current warning for Coastal Overtopping is still in place until 2 pm today.

 

MET Office officials said that the Severe Gales warning will see westerly winds increasing, with speeds between 40 to 45mph.

 

Gusts of up to 60 and 65mph and isolated gusts to 70mph are also expected.

 

There is a continued risk of disruption to travel, as well as the potential for damage.
