Weather warning issued for wintery showers and icy patches

The IOM MET Office has issued another Yellow Weather Warning for Wintery Showers and Icy patches.

 

Between 11 pm tonight and 3 pm tomorrow, a warning is in place, with isolated sleet or hail showers this evening becoming more frequent overnight.

 

The MET Office said there could potentially 2 to 5 cm over the hills with some drifting, and some temporary slushy accumulations possible at lower levels. 

 

The showers will become very isolated again tomorrow morning.

 

Icy patches will form on untreated surfaces above 500 ft by dawn on Tuesday and persist during the day.
