The Manx Labour Party has announced its first three candidates for the Local Authorities Elections 2020.
Carol Quine, Marc Clarke and Peter Washington will all be standing for the party in the election campaign.
MLP leader David Cretney said: 'Carol is also of course Vice-Chair of the Manx Labour Party and is an enthusiastic community-focused person as her list of associations indicates.'
Marc said: 'I would like to represent my fellow ratepayers in Douglas South to the best of my ability by ensuring value for money and playing my part in essential tasks and projects for Douglas residents, helping to make sure they are delivered to the high standard expected.'
Candidate for Douglas North at this election for the MLP team is Peter Washington, a recipient of the Queens Long service emergency services (Ambulance Service) medal in 1999 and a trade union member and activist all his life.
The first major issue that the three candidates have raised is housing on the Isle of Man and will be following up on the important matters they have highlighted.
Leader of the MLP David Cretney concluded by saying the only way to achieve change is by supporting the team who can work together and will 'put people first.'
