British Airways and Loganair have ‘sincerely apologised’ to Isle of Man passengers who suffered disruption earlier this week.
The service between the Isle of Man and London City is operated for BA by Loganair who have a new aircraft on the route.
The ATR aircraft is said to be more fuel-efficient, but was dogged with technical problems on its first day of service earlier this week(Monday). This lead to effects on crew and maintenance schedules and caused major disruption to the flights on Tuesday and Wednesday.
A spokesperson for BA told Energy FM News that services were now operating on time.
