Tynwald approves Budget 2020

Tynwald Parliament has approved the Budget 2020 delivered yesterday by the Treasury Minister.

 

Alf Cannan MHK presented the plans to Tynwald yesterday, stating how the Budget would grow the economy, deliver essential capital projects, support hard-working families and improve the lives of vulnerable members of the community.

 

All members voted for the Budget except the Speaker of the House of Keys, Juan Watterson MHK, who said that the process of the Budget is 'undemocratic'.
