Tributes are being paid to Bill Malarkey MHK who has died following a long illness.
The Home Affairs Minister passed away last night surrounded by his family.
In a letter to Government Staff, Chief Minister Howard Quayle said: "Bill was a close friend and colleague. Despite his serious diagnosis, Bill continued to serve his constituents and also the people of the Isle of Man through his leadership of the Department of Home Affairs."
The 68-year-old was re-elected for Douglas South in the 2016 General Election and was appointed Minister for Home Affairs.
