The Met Office has issued a yellow warning for snow.
Forecasters at Ronaldsway say with temperatures lowering tonight, the rain arriving is likely to fall as snow mainly on roads above 1000ft (and a risk of as low as 600-800ft) until later in the night when temperatures recover as milder air arrives.
Freezing levels should rise quite quickly between roughly 6am and 9am, which should bring a thaw.
Accumulations are uncertain at present; however, 4-6cm of snow is possible during these early hours, potentially giving a light to moderate coverage of snow.
Conditions will continue to improve as the morning progresses and temperatures rise further.
The warning will be in place between 1am and 8am on Monday.
