Falling snow closes roads including Mountain Road

Snow is affecting a number of roads this morning.

Police on the Island are warning motorists to drive to the conditions.

As of 6:50am - the following routes have been affected:

- Thoilt Y Will - CLOSED
- Beinn-y-Phott - CLOSED
- A18 Mountain Road - CLOSED
- The Sloc - CLOSED
- Barregarrow - Snow on higher ground - Passable with care.
- Lots of standing water around.

SAILINGS: The 8:45am Douglas to Heysham crossing will go ahead. Disruption is possible for this evening's sailing.

AIRPORT: Arrivals and Departures boards not reporting any delays or cancellations.

A yellow warning for snow remains in place until 8am.
