Mountain Road re-opens after crash

The Mountain Road has re-opened after a crash in the early hours of this morning.

Emergency services were called to the A18 following reports of an overturned vehicle.

Officers say the driver was uninjured during the incident and was taken home.

Police are warning motorists to drive to the conditions following poor weather.

A force spokesperson said: "The Mountain Road makes no allowances for driver error in poor conditions and people should remember that no matter how many times they travel on this road."
