Cruise passengers to help clean Island's beaches

Hundreds of cruise ship passengers visiting the Island this month will take part in beach cleaning sessions with Beach Buddies.

Beach Buddies is teaming up with Cruise Isle of Man to host the events for passengers on two Hurtigruten cruises.

More than 200 passengers will arrive on the Island today and will help clear up litter at Hango Hill in Derbyhaven.

It is believed to be the world’s first ever event of this kind for cruise ship passengers.
