Cruise passengers clean up beaches

More than 140 passengers from a cruise liner were helping clean the Island's beaches earlier.

Beach Buddies has teamed up Cruise Isle of Man to host the events this month for passengers.

They went to Castletown and Derbyhaven beaches and collected more than 280kg of litter in just an hour.

It is believed to be the world’s first ever event of this kind for cruise ship passengers.
