Man arrested after serious assault

Police have arrested a man in connection with a serious assault in Douglas.

It happened on Well Road Hill at around 3am on Saturday.

The incident involved two male parties, one of which received serious, but non-life threatening injuries requiring hospital treatment.

A second male was identified, arrested and bailed.

Officers from CID would like to speak with any person that may have witnessed the assault or were in the general area of Strand Street, Market Street and Well Road Hill.
